Mimix Asia Launches 7 to 13 GHz GaAs MMIC
6-Bit Phase Shifter
XS1000-BD Offers 5.625º Least Significant
Bit (LSB) Phase Shift
November
5, 2009, Hsinchu, Taiwan - Mimix Asia, a supplier
of monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs)
for microwave and millimeter-wave applications,
introduces today a 7 to 13 GHz GaAs MMIC 6-bit
phase shifter with LVCMOS/TTL compatible digital
control. Identified as XS1000-BD,
this device has digitally controlled 6-bit operation
and a least significant bit (LSB) of 5.625°.
The XS1000-BD delivers +25 dBm P1dB input compression
and is well suited for beamforming, EW receivers,
military and weather radar, and SATCOM applications.
"The XS1000-BD provides exceptional phase
control with high linearity performance and low
amplitude variance, making it ideally suited to
Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) applications,"
says Paul Beasly, Business Development Manager,
Mimix Asia. "The device is also offered in
a QFN-style package to allow for surface mount
board assembly."
Mimix performs 100% RF and DC testing on the
XS1000-BD and samples are available today from
stock. The datasheet, additional product information
and technical support can be obtained from the
Mimix Asia website at www.mimixasia.com.
